I’ve always loved painting, capturing a bit of magic onto a canvas. That’s what naturally drew me to live painting. I’m not trying to capture everything exactly as it looks; I’m much more interested in the overall feel of the day, the energy, the people, and what makes it yours. My work leans relaxed and painterly rather than overly polished or precise, focusing on atmosphere over perfection.

One of my favourite parts of what I do is creating something people can actually keep. With live wedding paintings, I’m capturing a moment you’ll come back to for years. And with live guest illustrations, I love chatting with people and picking up on those little personality details, giving them a fun, personal keepsake from your day.

On the day, friendly presence. I'm happy chatting with guests while the painting slowly comes together, or quietly doing my own thing in the background. It often becomes a bit of a talking point, which I love. Afterwards, I take the piece back to my studio to refine the details while keeping that loose, just painted feel. I’m based in Preston, Lancashire, and travel across the UK and beyond, taking on a limited number of weddings each year so I can give each one the time and attention it deserves.
